What this is
Take the time of a patient's last dose plus a frequency abbreviation (q4h, q6h, q8h, q12h, BID, TID, QID, daily) and project the next four dose times. Sophie Well does the modular-arithmetic so neither the patient nor the caregiver has to add hours in their head at 3am.
When to use it
Use this at home for any standing oral medication where missing or doubling a dose matters - antibiotics, anticonvulsants, immunosuppressants, opioid analgesics on a schedule, pediatric antipyretics. It is a literacy helper, not a clinical decision tool: it assumes the prescribed interval is correct and just lays the next four clock times out so the family can write them on the bottle or set phone alarms.
