Sarnat stage
2 - moderate (lethargic, hypotonic, seizures common)

Result: Sarnat stage 2 (moderate): lethargic or obtunded, hypotonia, weak or absent suck, seizures common.

What the result means

Stage 1 (mild)
Hyperalert, normal/increased tone, no seizures; usually resolves within 24 hours.
Stage 2 (moderate)
Lethargic or obtunded, hypotonia, seizures common.
Stage 3 (severe)
Stupor or coma, flaccid tone, suppressed or isoelectric EEG.
