Example

Result: Ideberg type II: a fracture through the fossa exiting the lateral (axillary) scapular border, with an inferior triangular fragment.

What the result means
- Type I
- Glenoid rim fracture (Ia anterior rim, Ib posterior rim).
- Type II
- Exits the lateral (axillary) border, with an inferior triangular fragment.
- Type III
- Exits the superior border (often with the coracoid / acromion).
- Type IV-VI
- Exits the medial border (IV); a combination of II/III/IV (V); severely comminuted (VI, Goss).
