ESSDAI (Sjögren Disease Activity Index)
EULAR Sjögren’s Syndrome Disease Activity Index (ESSDAI): twelve systemic domains each scored at its activity level (already weighted), summed and stratified low / moderate / high.

Example
- Articular
- Moderate
- Biological
- Low
Result: ESSDAI 5 — moderate systemic activity.
The tool opens with these values already filled in. Replace them with your own.
What the result means
- Strata
- Low < 5, moderate 5–13, high ≥ 14. Constitutional, glandular, and biological have no high level; CNS has no low level. An unselected domain contributes 0.
What you enter
- Constitutional
- Lymphadenopathy
- Glandular
- Articular
- Cutaneous
- Pulmonary
- Renal
- Muscular
The other 4 fields
- Peripheral nervous system
- Central nervous system
- Hematological
- Biological
How this is calculated
- Weights
- 12 weighted domains; each level’s printed value is already weight × level, so the total is the direct sum (theoretical max 123). Weights range from 1 (biological) to 6 (muscular).
