Drug Concentration to Volume (draw-up)
Draw-up volume: volume to draw (mL) = ordered dose (mg) / stock concentration (mg/mL).

Example
- Ordered dose
- 25
- Stock concentration
- 50
Result: Draw 0.5 mL: 25 mg from a 50 mg/mL concentration.
The tool opens with these values already filled in. Replace them with your own.
What you enter
- Ordered dose (mg)
- Stock concentration (mg/mL)
- Weight (kg) — optional
- Per-kg dose (mg/kg) — optional
How this is calculated
First-principles dosing arithmetic: volume to draw (mL) = ordered dose (mg) / stock concentration (mg/mL), with an optional weight x per-kg-dose derivation of the ordered dose. Verify against the current local protocol and the receiving facility.
