What the result means
- Score 0-3
- three categories (predisposing conditions, pain features, exam findings); each scores 1 if any feature within it is present. 0 low, 1 intermediate, >= 2 high risk.
- D-dimer
- the optional D-dimer is a pathway note only: in the ADD-RS <= 1 group a D-dimer < 500 ng/mL is the published rule-out adjunct; ADD-RS >= 2 goes directly to imaging.
