Inputs and output

What you enter

One or more X12 999 005010X231A1 text files, up to 50 MB each. Files remain in the browser tab.

What you get
Rejected, accepted-with-errors and accepted counts; a rejected-first table with the group and set control numbers, raw IK5 and AK9 codes, and segment and element error positions; a check of AK9's counts against the sets listed; and a CSV download.

What this is

For each claim batch or other transaction set you sent, it shows whether it was accepted, accepted with errors, or rejected, and where each error is.

When to use it

Use this when a clearinghouse or payer returns a 999 after you submit an 837 or another X12 file, to find which transaction sets were turned away before anyone looked at the claims.
