What the result means
- Grades
- 0 minimal (testing only), 1 trivial unawareness + impaired addition, 2 lethargy + disorientation to time + asterixis, 3 somnolence + gross disorientation, 4 coma.
- Overt HE
- grades 2 and above are overt hepatic encephalopathy.
