Result: Geissler grade II: attenuation or hemorrhage seen from the radiocarpal joint, plus incongruency or step-off of carpal alignment in the midcarpal space.

What the result means
- Grade I
- Radiocarpal ligament attenuation; midcarpal alignment congruent.
- Grade II
- Added midcarpal incongruency; no probe passage.
- Grade III
- Incongruency from both joints; a probe passes the interval.
- Grade IV
- Gross instability; a 2.7 mm arthroscope passes (drive-through sign).
