Example
- Fernandez type
- I - bending (Colles/Smith)
Result: Fernandez type I: a bending fracture of the metaphysis (Colles and Smith fractures).
The tool opens with these values already filled in. Replace them with your own.
What the result means
- Type I
- Bending fracture of the metaphysis (Colles, Smith).
- Type II
- Shearing fracture of the joint surface (Barton, radial styloid).
- Type III
- Compression of the articular surface (die-punch).
- Type IV
- Avulsion / radiocarpal fracture-dislocation.
- Type V
- Combined, high-velocity injuries (types I-IV combined).
What you enter
