What the result means
- Classes
- I = enamel only (rough edge, non-tender); II = enamel + dentin (yellow dentin, sensitive); III = enamel + dentin + pulp exposed (pink/bleeding, dental emergency).
- Use
- Three-class emergency form; the extended Ellis IV-IX scheme is inconsistently defined and excluded.
