What the result means
- 1
- Symptom-limited daily activity (eg, reading, minimal screen time), starting in short blocks after the initial 24-48 h of relative rest.
- 2
- School activities out of the classroom (homework, reading); goal: increase tolerance to cognitive work.
- 3
- Return to school part time — a partial day and/or extra rest breaks and academic supports.
- 4
- Return to school full time, tolerated without more than mild symptom worsening; complete before unrestricted return to sport.
