What the result means
- Per sextant
- 0 none, 1 initial texture loss, 2 defect < 50% surface, 3 loss >= 50%. Total = sum of the highest score in each of 6 sextants (0-18).
- Levels
- 0-2 none (routine), 3-8 low (hygiene/diet, fluoride), 9-13 medium (avoid restorations), >= 14 high (consider restorations).
