What this is
Convert between the SI and US-customary units that show up everywhere in clinical documentation - kilograms and pounds, centimeters and inches, Celsius and Fahrenheit, millimoles and milligrams for glucose, micromoles and milligrams per deciliter for creatinine, and the common length, weight, and temperature pairs. Sophie Well uses the exact conversion constants (no rounded textbook approximations) and shows the inverse conversion at the same time so you can cross-check by eye.
When to use it
Use this when a chart documents weight in pounds and the dosing protocol expects kilograms, when a glucose value arrives from a lab that reports in mmol/L instead of mg/dL, or when a foreign discharge summary lists temperatures in Celsius and the receiving system is anchored on Fahrenheit. Wrong-unit errors propagate downstream into weight-based dosing, growth-chart plotting, and insulin titration, where they cause real harm - a deterministic, side-by-side conversion that you can sanity-check in two seconds is the simplest defense.
