Result: SSS 14/20: upper third of the 0-20 range (severe) (pulmonary 3, cardiovascular 3, local wound 4, GI 2, hematologic 1, CNS 1). A continuous index -- higher is more severe; Dart 1996 sets no fixed cutoff.

What the result means
- Subscores
- pulmonary 0-3, cardiovascular 0-3, local wound 0-4, GI 0-3, hematologic 0-4, CNS 0-3, summed to a total of 0-20.
- Interpretation
- a continuous severity index correlating with clinician assessment; Dart 1996 defines no fixed minimal/moderate/severe total-score cutoff. Higher is more severe.
