What the result means
- Subscores
- surface area (length x width cm2) scored 0-10 by category, exudate amount 0-3 (none to heavy), and tissue type 0-4 (closed to necrotic, worst present); total 0-17.
- Trend
- a decreasing total over serial assessments indicates healing; an increasing total, deterioration. PUSH is a monitoring instrument, so the score is trended over time.
