Result: OLBI total 40 of 64 - exhaustion 20 of 32, disengagement 20 of 32.
The tool opens with these values already filled in. Replace them with your own.
What the result means
- Exhaustion
- Sum of items 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16. Range 8 to 32.
- Disengagement
- Sum of items 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15. Range 8 to 32.
- Reverse scored
- Items 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12. Each subscale mixes four forward and four reverse items, so neither can be scored by adding answers directly.
- Total
- 16 to 64. Higher is more burnout.
- Threshold
- No consensus cutoff. Published sources give different bands or state that no widespread agreement exists, so none is asserted.
