Example
- PaO2
- 200 mmHg
- FiO2
- 100 %
- Creatinine
- 2.0 mg/dL
Result: Modified Marshall: organ failure -- respiratory, renal scored >= 2 (the Revised Atlanta threshold; assessed: respiratory 3, renal 2).
The tool opens with these values already filled in. Replace them with your own.
What the result means
- Systems
- respiratory (PaO2/FiO2), renal (creatinine), cardiovascular (SBP/fluid/pH), each 0-4; a blank system is not-assessed.
- Organ failure
- a score of 2 or more in any system; persistent failure beyond 48 h defines severe acute pancreatitis. Class B (Revised Atlanta, revisable).
What you enter
- PaO2
- FiO2
- Creatinine
- Cardiovascular score (0-4, pre-banded; blank = not assessed)
