What the result means
- Grade IA
- Geographic, with a sclerotic margin: least aggressive.
- Grade IB
- Geographic, well-defined margin, no sclerotic rim.
- Grade IC
- Geographic, with an ill-defined margin.
- Grade II
- Geographic with moth-eaten or permeative areas: a combined pattern.
- Grade III
- Moth-eaten or permeative throughout: most aggressive.
