What the result means
- Index
- GCS-P = GCS total - Pupil Reactivity Score (number of pupils unreactive: 0/1/2). Range 1-15; the penalty cannot drive the index below 1.
- Use
- extends the bottom of the scale where TBI prognosis differs most; a lower GCS-P maps to worse 6-month mortality and unfavorable outcome.
