What the result means
- All 3 met
- Flow ≥ 600 mL/min, diameter ≥ 6 mm, and depth ≤ 6 mm all met: highly predictive of functional maturation (PPV >90%).
- < 3 met
- Not all criteria met: does not reliably predict failure to mature (NPV ~47%). The 2019 KDOQI update relies on clinical judgment.
