What the result means
- Severity
- Mild > 1.5; moderate 1.0-1.5; severe < 1.0 cm2. DI < 0.25 corroborates severe and is less geometry-dependent.
- Caveat
- Low-flow / low-gradient aortic stenosis needs integrated assessment; the severity adjudication stays with the heart team.
