How this is calculated
Citation
45 CFR 155.420: 60 days from the event (60 before and after for a loss of coverage; 90 after for a loss of Medicaid or CHIP; 60 from learning of it without timely notice); coverage from the first of the month after plan selection, with special dates for births and losses. Read the source ↗
